Following the successful launch of its new brand identity, Nigeria’s most innovative telecommunications company, 9mobile, has equally changed the name of its pan-African literary prize to 9mobile Prize for Literature.
The management of the company affirms that the Prize will continue to underscore the unwavering commitment of the brand to the discovery and nurturing of talent.
The company revealed that the call for entries for the 2018 edition of the Prize which was announced on July 3, 2017 remains open till September 18, 2017, after which the Judging Panel will screen the submitted entries to select the books that will make the longlist.
Meanwhile, the former Etisalat Photography Competition, now 9mobile Photography Competition, the annual competition is a platform that seeks to discover, reward and empower budding Photography has announced the commencement of 9mobile Photography Competition with the call for entries.
Submission of entries for the competition opened from August 7 to September 11, 2017.
Nigerians with a passion for photography are encouraged to enter for the competition by visiting their website.
Entries close September 11, after which voting will commence September 22 from the ‘Top 100’ as selected by the Judges to close September 29. The picture with the highest number of votes will be announced October 2 and unveiled as winner, Voters choice.
A jury comprising of eminent persons will select the final top 3, and thereafter announce the winner and two runners-up will be awarded prizes in October, in Lagos.
