The Nigerian Army and troops of Operation Lafiya Dole in the North-East have called on remnants of Boko Haram terrorists to surrender if they must avoid dying like dogs in a renewed onslaught on their Sambisa Forest hideout.
This is even as troops of 22 Brigade Dikwa, under 7 Division in conjunction with Civilian Joint Task Force, last Monday, ambushed suspected Boko Haram terrorists between Bulabulin and Mongole villages of Dikwa Local Government Area, Borno State, killing six terrorists and recovering arms and ammunition.
These were disclosed in a statement by Director, Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Sani Usman.
Meanwhile, two fleeing Boko Haram suspects were, Tuesday, arrested at Sasawa, Yobe State, by troops of 233 Battalion, 27 Task Force Brigade, according to Director, Army Public Relations, Brigadier-General Usman Kukasheka, in Damaturu, yesterday.
